Product description:

Clomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), used mainly in female infertility due to anovulation (e.g. due to polycystic ovary syndrome).

Drug class:

Selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERM).

Characteristic:

Selective estrogen receptor modulators have varying effects on different isoforms of the estrogen receptor. Their use is In infertility, osteoporosis and menopause symptoms.

Indication:

Clomiphene is indicated for the treatment of ovulatory dysfunction in women desiring pregnancy. Impediments to achieving pregnancy must be excluded or adequately treated before beginning Clomiphene therapy.

Side effects:

Common adverse drug reactions associated with the use of Clomiphene include: hot flashes, abdominal discomfort, visual blurring (dose-dependent), and/or reversible ovarian enlargement and cyst formation.

Dosage:

Depending upon your fertility health center, you may be asked to administrate clomiphene citrate:

3-7 of your menstrual period,

5-9 of your menstrual period.

Quantity generally initiate at 50 mg. Near all patients maintain on this quantity for a cycle or two. If there is no improvement in ovulation, the amount can be amplified to a most of 200 mg for every day day.

Store in a cool dry place. Protect from light and children.
