THYMALIN is a peptide analog of the naturally occurring thymulin which is present in the thymus. It is used in treating neurodegenerative diseases and inflammatory conditions.

THYMALIN has been shown to act as an analgesic and immunomodulator. It acts by causing a downregulation of inflammatory factors and also upregulates the levels of cytokines in the brain as a neuroprotective mechanism. This is what makes it suitable for use as an anti-inflammatory drug and analgesic.
